| UNIQUE MANUFACTURING PROCESS |
• Millennium’s ingredients are first thoroughly processed and
checked. The cactus is the most difficult ingredient to process, as
it
requires careful handling. Only mature cactus plants are high
in nutrition. Each cactus plant has very little juice and it takes
several
cactus plants to produce one pack of Millennium.
• Removing the spines of the cactus plant is a tricky task as there
are many spines that are too small to be seen by the naked eye.
The cactus plant’s thick epidermis must be removed thoroughly as it
cannot be digested by the human body and can cause
diarrhea. Adding difficulty to the processing of cactus is the fact
that once the cactus’ epidermis is removed, its gel may decay
within a few hours. Hence, the processing of cactus must be careful
and swift. This difficult process translates into high cost.
• After a complex extraction process, the cactus juice goes through
nanofiltration, microfiltration and ultrafiltration to eliminate
contaminants and bacteria but it retains its pure nutrients.
This process is similar to the filtration of fluids in intravenous
drips to
remove contaminants. |
